The new speedy in town - Airtel 4G

Hi Guys,

Whatsup ?

This one's about the hot topic of this month. In one of the biggest roll-outs India has ever seen, Airtel unleashed its supremely powerful 4G network and that too in more than 250 cities across India at once which makes it the solo operator to have such an immense 4G coverage.

This is when I had lost all hopes that India would get the internet speeds like the US or the Europe, that Airtel finally comes with this.
The internet has come a long way from those beep bop dial up connections to broadband to 3G and now to the best of them all - The Airtel 4G. Gone are those days when you had to wait for 6-7 hours for a movie download, gone are those days when you had to wait for 3 hours to watch the new episode of your favorite sitcom. All credits to 4G.

The cherry on the cake is that they are providing free 4G sims to everybody at a tweet at their doorsteps. It does not get better than this. You think ? Think again !

The best part about the Airtel 4G is the pricing they have kept. They are offering 4G at the price of 3G. How cool is that ? This gives Airtel an edge over all its competitors, with the largest network around the country and now with the the 4G rollout, I don't think anyone even has a chance.

You must have seen those adverts on the television or the internet about how Airtel 4G kicks ass of every other internet provider. Well, that true. Try it to believe it. I just downloaded a movie in the time I wrote the above 5 lines.

What excites me even more than the faster internet are the prospects of finishing up things faster than before. You can watch those video tutorials faster than before, without any buffering and that too at 1080p. You can have those heavy excels and PPTs downloaded in blink of any eye. Getting work done faster was never this easy.

Internet speed has always been a concern in India. With those 512kbps unlimited plans people were getting impatient. It was barely enough speed to browse several things at once, not to mention multitasking was something you could have never thought of. What was required was a stable internet that could provide high speed at all times, when you were home, when you were travelling and even when you were on a vacation in the mountains. The Airtel guys seems to have sorted all this.

And if you don't believe what I have written so far, there something for you that might interest you. Airtel is challenging anyone and everyone with faster speed than their's and if you beat them they pay you phone bills for an eternity. Ohhhh yeahhh !! You heard it right. Think your network can beat it ? Log on to http://www.airtel.in/4g/ and try it out.

But I am sure that your network will stand no where near Airtel's. Ciao !

UC Cricket - The center of all attraction

Hi guys. Today's blogpost is about the driving force that connects us all. One force that drives us all. One sport that unites the country despite all or any of the differences. Yes, I'm talking about CRICKET !! Our guiding force, our nation's pride, our savior and everything else...

Recently while travelling in Delhi Metro, I witnessed something that made me write this blog. The instance I am mentioning is very rare and really makes you restore faith in humanity. Enough of building up the excitement ;). What I witnessed that day on metro was a huge group of people gathered around one guy and I immediately thought that he must have done something and the people around him were going to beat him. To my surprise everybody just started cheering and clapping. I was confused as well as curious as to what was going on between that circle.

I closed in. With much effort, I managed to sneak a glimpse of what was going on and then everything was clear. It was the India-Bangladesh ODI streaming live on his mobile phone. Virat Kohli was on batting and had just hit a six.

I have always been amazed at the lengths that an Indian fan would go, to watch cricket. Now that cricket is such an enormous phenomenon in India, we really need something that could give us all round connectivity to the game.

I began searching for such tools that might help in containing the craving of cricket to each and every fan. It is then that I came to UC browser.

I had used UC browser in past and had been blown away by its speed. It was always one of the apps that I would install first on any of my mobile phone.
With UC Browser, it's faster, easier to use with seamless transitions. It features UC Cricket which is a space dedicated for every cricket fan, connecting them to the match wherever they are.

Digging more on UC browser and its amazing UC cricket feature, I came across this amazing series of advertisement which feature our heartthrob Yuvraj Singh. Here is one of those amazing ads featuring him. You can watch the other on UC browser's youtube channel or on http://www.ucweb.com/

What these guys at UC browser have done is, combine the wholesome experience of cricket and packed it in its feature - UC Cricket. It is an amazing addition to the app since this is what every cricket fan in India ever wanted, moreover everyone in India ever needed. A handy app to watch cricket, read all cricket related news at ultra fast lightning speed.

They have done us all a favor as this integration was very important for all of us die hard fans and would make it a lot easier to be connected to our favorite sport.

Now guys there is no stopping you from watching those amazing innings played by Virat Kohli or that brilliant spell bowled by Ashwin. So you know what you need to do, download UC browser now and get going with UC cricket.

Cheers !!

The secret path to the fountain of beauty :)

Hi Guys,

Hope you all are doing good ! Its's again been long since I have blogged. Yes. I have been busy. Believe it or not. I have been.

The 4 month old job has started taking a toll on me. The new and exciting phase is over and I have hit reality pretty hard. Or the reality has hit me pretty hard. The basic point being, something has been hit hard and it's affecting me real bad.

Just today, I was standing in front of the mirror (Yes, I do that. Judge me all you want.) and noticed the degrading quality of my skin and my hair. The long working hours, the work pressure, the immensely insane targets have done their job well again.

I needed a cleanse. I needed to visit a spa and a salon. I needed time to relax.  I deserved time to relax. But well, then again the bloody phone rang and it was time to hit the shower and run to catch the Metro again.

Ever heard of the phrase "Google all you can in Metro". No. Even I haven't. But that's what I do. I was figuring out a way to get my rejuvenated skin back and then I came across. "VICCO Turmeric Cream" I know it sounds funny as VICCO is something that we only heard in movie theaters and stuff. But this was some really good stuff and then I watched this video embedded below which made me sure of what to do.

This cream is based on Ayurveda, which has various benefits over cosmetic facial cleansing regimes. An Ayurveda facial care regime improves the texture and health of skin as opposed to a harmful cosmetic ones. Its Ayurvedic formula combined with the microbicide properties of turmeric prevents oily skin, fights pimples and clears blackheads.
GO check the link and watch this video NOW !!

Apart from this there are so many home remedies that can help you get the charm back. Eat healthy, drink as much water as you can. Make greens a part of your regular diet and you will be able to see change in a week. You can get your radiant skin back in a week's time and that is a promise.

Avoid using the chemical based creams and cleansers.

There are so many "Daadi Maa ke Nushke" that you can try out to help getting amazing skin.
It is very important to nourish, moisturize and cleanse the entire body with only the best herbal ingredients, because your skin is connected to all the aspects of health — mental, emotional, physical, spiritual and sensory. It is the largest organ in the body. It plays an important role in purifying toxins, is connected to all the nerve endings in the body.

So get going and pay some attention to your body. Cleanse yourself to the core and live a happier life.

Cheers !!

The magical app :)

Long time no blogging !!

I write this on my way to Gulmarg from Srinagar. The scenic beauty fills my heart with immense pleasure and the greenest of lush green valleys pass before my eyes like someone sprayed this land with a green paint.
It has been rightly said that if there's heaven on this earth, it is here.

As I climb up my way through the mountains, the most amazing thing I feel is that I have no network drops. The network connectivity here astonishes me. A full fledged 3G network helps me achieve my deadlines and stay connected with my friends as well. All thanks to Airtel. :)

I came across this amazing app as I had to pay my bill, MY AIRTEL APP. Amazing work by the guys at Airtel. A multipurpose app to handle all your mobile needs. You can get this amazing app at http://www.airtel.in/myairtel. GO and get it now !!

My Airtel App with its simple and intuitive design helps you manage all your DTH, Broadband, Prepaid & postpaid services in one place. Apart from amazing offers for post paid and pre paid users it also helps you pay your bills, recharge your DTH, track account usage, track service requests, buy products, add your family & friends’ numbers and much more. It's the simplest way to manage all your Airtel services through your handset.

What I like most about My Airtel App is its compatibility and I really like how the app runs smoothly even when I do not have 3G network. I can pay my bills to all my airtel connections anywhere. There are these amazing cashbacks and offers that you get when you download it. You have so many tempting offers that you end up paying your bill before time :P
The handyness of the app is what makes it worthwhile. In the world of apps and strict timelines this app comes as a savior. I can not recall how many times it has saved me.

Secondly there is this "I want to " section that helps you save your preferences and later you can come back and repeat the regular transaction hassle free. You have these amazing buy, order, pay , recharge, record and view options through which you can ease all your transactions and without worries and any delay.

Last but not the least, The wnyk music app is embedded into the my airtel app which makes it an entertainment center as well. You can listen to your favorite songs on the go and never be bored. It acts as a perfect companion for a solo traveller, a mood setter for a group of people and a trend for the youth.

The app stayed with me through all my trip and helped me enjoy my trip to the best.

Hope you guys also get the chance to try this amazing app. Do give your insights if you happen to try it.

Cheers !! Until next time !!

Nashta at Gupta Ji's

Heyy guys !!

Breakfast being the most important meal of the day, got me googling about making the best out of it. I was not surprised to find out so many search result.

One of them was from our very own Kellogg’s. Our very own trusted brand. I have grown up eating corn flakes and chocos and still prefer having it as the first meal of my day. It keeps me energized for the tiring journey throughout the day.

Kellogg’s has launched this series of breakfast tweaks known as Kellogg’s waale Guptaji ka nashta. This is an amazing initiative which features more than 100 recipes for all your breakfast needs. You can log on to their youtube channel or their facebook page and have a new, exciting and healthy breakfast each day for months.
I would love to go to Gupta Ji to attend breakfast as I don’t think anybody could resist such tempting feasts for breakfast.

I have seen breakfast buffets at the biggest of hotels but this youtube channel is making me go crazy and even though while I write this, it is time for lunch I crave for breakfast. With so many yummylicious flavors, breakfast has never been better. Who thought there was so much scope for innovation in breakfast.

With all of working our asses off and having no time for a good nutritious breakfast, Guptaji’s breakfast solves every anomaly and gives you a perfect, easy to make recipe.

I would even have loved Guptaji as my neighbor, then there would been no need to fuss about everyday’s breakfast and I could knock on the next door and get my daily nutrition supplement ;)

But since that is not the case I’ll have Kellogg’s help me along the way.
Anyways Guptaji’s breakfast treat would be awesome in so many ways that it is even hard to explain. I’ll be able to stay energetic all day with all that energy I gain from all the nutrients. There is no need to worry about my breakfast getting monotonous because with more than 100 delicacies and I’m sure that it would never get boring with Guptaji and his nashta :D

Guptaji and his family seem so amazing that it would be so hard to contain myself to not have breakfast or to even think of it. Everything looks so delicious and the way all the dishes have been prepared make it really really difficult to keep my hands off of it.
A perfect start to the day is all I want after watching these amazing videos.
All I want is to be at Guptaji’s place for breakfast and eat like there is no tomorrow.

You too could be a part of this amazing treat. Just log on to Kellogg’s channel and start making these for yourself. You don’t need Guptaji to help you start your day perfectly. All you need is some amazing Kellogg’s products and VOILA !!

The unexpected little happiness

Hiii.

Ssup people!! How’s it going guys? Having fun? Living life?

So I’m back with another post this week. Before starting have a look at http://CokeURL.com/96jnc.

And this amazing video by Coca Cola. Coke has always been so great with their advertisements. They always come up with stuff that is very unconventional and so creative. This one includes the young heartthrob Sid Malhotra and the very cute Alia Bhatt. There is no reason to not like this one.

As the Coco Cola ad suggests “open happiness”, today in this post I’m going to open some of the little stuff that gives me immense pleasure or say that can make my day.

For instance, just last night I had to go pick up some relative from the airport. Airport being 15 kms from my home, I was a bit hesitant on the drive and was trying to fix my brother to go and pick him up. But the plan failed and I was stuck with the job. I was all prepared to be bored for 60 minutes of clutching and braking. But to my surprise as soon the engine turned on, the radio was playing one of my favorite song. I don’t know how often does this happen to you , but for me this is like the best thing that could happen before a depressing long drive. And to my astonishment, the drive turned out to be even better with very less traffic and a cool breeze. So I was on my way to pick up a guest with the best music thumping out the speakers and an amazing long drive to the airport. This is something that might not matter to someone and you might also think, who listens to radio? Why not plug in aux and listen to your favorite song anytime, but let me tell you the pleasure that one song would give you when it plays on radio is much more than having it with you and playing it anytime.

It’s all about timing believe me. You cannot be happier getting the right things at the right time. Life has so many simple pleasures that make it worth living. These are what help us cope up with life’s dullness. These are what that help us look forward.

Some other instances for such little pleasures would be getting surprised by your friends or family members, getting those amazing lovely messages from your girlfriend/boyfriend.

Those unexpected little bonuses, those small gifts by your employer, those small little favors some stranger does for you, those fights for the last piece of pizza.

You barely think that such small things could affect your life, but you cannot be more wrong. These are the things that shape your life for better. These small things make a mark on you and you would definitely remember such instances for long.

Therefore, What I would suggest is, take life as it comes and enjoy every small piece of happiness that comes along your way, because you never know when life would take a turn and even these small happiness would seem precious.

Muaaahhhh !!

Hi guys. What's up??  This week's blog is about the days that we have all gone through and I hope you are able to connect with this.

This is about my school farewell a few years back! I keep reminiscing about those glory days often. Days of fun, days of chai paranthe at 3am, days of kicking the birthday boy, days of thunder haha. I am sure most of you reading this by now must have started thinking about your school days and the amazing memories attached to them.
Usually the most memorable days in school are the ones when your crush gives you a tiny hint which is enough to keep you happy for the rest of your lives and mine is no different. I had a huge crush on a girl since the day I saw her, super confident as I was, I went to her and started talking and she was mesmerizing! We soon became really good friends but there were somethings I could just not say to her, no matter how much I wanted to shout out seeing her, everything used to go in a box of trash as soon as I used to see her walking towards me! We were super fond of each other and I thought telling her wasn't really necessary now. We used to hang out all the time, used to study together, have meals together! School staff, as weird as they are thought it's time to poke their big bloody noses called us in the head office one day. My heart was racing! I thought this will be the end! How much I wanted to tell her what I felt all along. We stood in front of our principal, honestly I don't remember shit about that lecture. There were voices in my head saying that this is gone now when suddenly, I looked towards her, my principal had turned around for something! she looked at me and winked! ;) oh I realized this was so on :D
Soon after that, all the hiding started , meeting like we don't know each other walking behind walls, writing behind books (yes we were in school years ago , had no cell phones, life wasn't easy :p )
But I still couldn't gather myself up to tell her how much she meant to me! Prep leaves started so we couldn't see each other everyday and it all became very grey! Farewell was coming, I was excited  I would meet her soon after a while and I thought I'll tell her. I saw her that night wearing a sari and I swear there has never been anyone or anything that beautiful! AND To my surprise she came, straight towards me, I was in my classroom alone waiting for her, and she kissed me!! And I really don't have to say who and what made this day so memorable !
This might seem a bit unrealistic but believe me it is very true.
If you too are scared out of your guts to express your feelings just like me, gibe it your best shot and who knows when you might get lucky.  The most memorable day of your life might be around the corner.

Cheers !!

The day I started saying NO !!

Hey guys. Hope you all are doing well. Today I’m going to share a simple step that has turned my life around. I could have never imagined how a simple word can change your life to such a great extent.

The power of NO. The power to say NO. The power to live with your decisions and doing what you love. The power of living it your own way.

If you met me few months ago, you would’ve said that I was a big kissass. I myself would have dejected me if I met myself a few months ago. I was living my life for others. All I did was to please others. I kept my self on the backseat and gave everyone else the steering wheel of my life.

It all started with a spectacular step that brought around this catastrophic change in my life. I had this epiphany about life and what I was doing and what I wasn’t. It was soon that I realized that there was nothing that I was doing for myself. All that I did was either for someone or because of someone.
Others had taken a toll on my life. It wasn’t a life worth living. Believe me. All my plans, all my dreams, all my wishes burned down to ashes.

Then came the day I decided to start saying NO to things I didn’t want to do. NO to things I didn’t even enjoy doing. That was the day I was reborn. I had finally started living life. I had finally started enjoying life. I was the one in control.

I did not have to go out with friends when I wanted to sleep, I did not have to do stuff when I was reading, I no longer had to put up with other people’s crap when all I wanted to do was get the hell out of there.

I became a free bird. I am a free bird now. And you have to take my word on this, this is the best feeling ever.
The message through this blogpost would be to start doing what you like and see the changes in your life. If you too have been living for someone else, for once try this out and see the results for yourselves.

There is never a better time to start living for yourself, then now. I have been in both the situations and I would never recommend any of you to be that guy who doesn’t live for himself.
There is a huge difference in being selfless and living for others. A selfless person does not sacrifice his will for making others happy. He just does not care about his happiness and keeps other above him.

So the plan is to say NO to stuff that you don’t feel like doing. There are no repercussions to this, only advantages. Stop thinking what others think about you. And start believing in yourself.
To end this post have a look at this amazing advertisement by https://housing.com/.

Cheers !!

We found love in a hopeless place !!

The title of the post is a song by Rihanna, but it has been the most apt title I could have given to this post.

Sometimes in life you get what you expect the least and the other times life surprises you with tremendous amounts of hop, love and peace.

This recently happened to me when I had gone for this 15 days communication and general management programme in Ahmedabad.  I have lived in Jaipur for most of my life and needed a change of scenery so I decided to go through this mandatory training in Ahmedabad where some of my cousins lived.  The thought behind doing so was, since the training was compulsory I had to attend it and with cousins it would be a lot of fun.  I could explore the city, have some fun times and enjoy 15 days of my life.

The thing is I wasn't expecting a lot out this training plus the gujju fraternity has never excited me.  So the purpose was to complete the training anyhow, have some fun times with cousins and be on my way.

Befikar Bucket List :D

Hi Guys

Imagine a lifestyle where you do not have to worry about petty things like money and you have this choice to explore everything and anything you want.

How amazing the world and this life would have been had there been no worries, no limitations, no constraints?

The central idea to write about a bucket list without any limitations came from this advert from IDBI Federal Life Insurance.
I saw this advertisement a few days back and the idea was at the back of my head to write something of a bucket list without any limitations.

I have named the post "Befikar Bucket List" because that's what you get with "Federal Life Insurance Whole Life". Now there is a way to achieve that unfathomable bucket list of yours. Check out this link for more information on different policies and schemes.

So the five activities/things mentioned below are what my bucket list would involve if there was no holding back of resources.

1. Meeting AR Rahman

The maestro has been the biggest inspiration in my life. The Mozart of Madras as we call him, has risen up against all odds and has made his mark on the global music industry. With two academy awards, few grammys and so many other prestigious awards in his lap, he has been the most humble and down to earth person I have noticed with such credentials.

2. Travel round the world on a bicycle

Travelling has always been a passion. Exploring new places has always given me an adrenaline rush. And cycling is a hobby that always takes me to that serene place when everything else is not working out. So going around the world on a vehicle that brings me closer to myself as well as to nature has to be stupendous to say at least.

3. Invent something to help mankind

Not to brag or anything but helping others gives me a different kind of high and obviously there is a feel good factor attached to giving. Maybe its these traits that have forced me to give more and more or maybe its something else. What I would want to do is invent something (I don't know what yet) that would help the whole mankind in some or the other form.

4. Form a band, spread the love

To be in a band is every guy's dream and so is mine. To be in a band and to spread the message of peace and love is what I want to do. Being in a band, be it vocals, guitar or the drums, just being a part of it and having those amazing jamming sessions, band meetings and unprecedented performances.

5. Dinner date with Richard Branson

To meet the man who has built more than 300 companies and discuss with him some of his life experiences one to one is the ultimate dream. The business tycoon is the most commendable person on the face of earth. In my opinion Virgin group has touched heights that no other company can or ever will and I give the full credit to its founder - Richard Branson.

So these are the dreams, the wishes and the "to be achieved". Plan your future like you will live forever and insure your dreams insightfully.

Hope you liked the blog. Dream on !!

Until next time. Ciao !!

The fine line between a chat and a phone call

Hi there !!

I recently came across a situation that made me think about the pros and cons of a phone call over a simple text chat.

Though not a very big issue but many of us are inclined towards talking on the phone rather than chatting or texting coz it feels a bit more personal. But what about when you do not want to talk to your caller, wouldn't a simple text message or chat be better than calling.

My personal preference is chatting rather than talking on the phone. In this post I am going to give you 3 reasons why the former is better than the latter. Not to change any personal perceptions but if you could make good out of any advice, use it. If not, consider this as a fun read and move on :)

Recently I wrote a post about how http://www.quikr.com/ helped me move to Bangalore and made the transition really very smooth. Today I'm gonna discuss a bit more about the website and its new feature Quikr NXT.

Quikr NXT is this amazing addition to an already superb app through which you can chat with the prospective buyer or seller inside the app without having to call him.

According to me this is a very useful feature and would definitely help the app get more traffic and more users because earlier some people did not post on the website/app just because they didn't want those calls every 5-10 minutes asking about the product. So the reason number 1 is very clear and I am sure whoever has ever sold or bought a product on Quikr is aware of the huge number of calls that one would get shortly after posting the ad. The Quikr NXT solves this problem from head to toe. Now you do not have to give your phone number on the ad. Just select the option of Quikr NXT and you wouldn't get those annoying calls for negotiating the price. You just have to open the app when you need to check up on updates about your product and voila !! You can contact whoever you want and diss whom you don't.

The second reason in favour of chatting over calling would be better explained with this example. Imagine you are in a super important meeting and a prospective buyer calls you up and asks for the price of that 60 year old transistor that you posted on Quikr :P
Wouldn't that be a bit irritating? I think it would be.  So this is where Quikr NXT comes to the rescue again. Just drop in a message to the seller and he would contact you once he is in a position to talk things through.

The third reason why I think a chat would be more helpful than calling up a prospective buyer or seller is because you can express yourself better over text and help the other person about your requirement clearly. It happens to me quite often that the caller on the other side is from some other descent and it makes it really difficult to understand him/her over the phone call. Quikr NXT would really come in handy at these times.

Hope you liked the post. See you soon :)

A bolder proposal :)

Soon it will be that time of the year again. Those seven days of pure love. Those seven days of thinking things over and choosing the best surprises for the love of your life. The Valentine's week.

Challenging your mind to get something creative that would make her go "aww". Selecting her favorite flowers, selecting the best gifts, the over rated and over budget imported chocolates.

Truth be told, I've never done any of these things EVER !!. Rather I've always thought these to be too cheesy and gimmicky. But then again I have never felt the way for anyone that I feel for her now. Lets not give her a name and mention 'her' as 'her' ;)

So today when I was browsing the World Wide Web I came across this super fun website from the Close up http://cupidgames.closeup.in/. What they have planned for this Valentine's is a bold way to propose your crush. You spin the close up tube and whatever the dare comes you have to do that in order to win some amazing prizes and of course win the love of your crush.

Inspired by the idea I tried my luck and got a amazing dare to put up a special message in glow in the dark paint.

So to plan things further I am thinking of taking help of a few of my friends, her mom (who by the way is a sweetheart) and planning to propose her on the Valentine's day, as cheesy as it may sound ;)

What I am planning is to paint her room in a pink glow in the dark color (Pink being the favorite color of her and every other girl on the planet ) with my proposal to her.  Going into the details, I plan on wooing her everyday of the Valentine's week just like every other guy would do and then with the final proposal that would probably sweep her off her feet.
Or on the contrary I could act normal the whole week and let this amazing gesture be a surprise for her. Do tell which one sounds better to you ?

Knowing her a bit makes me think that this would definitely be a relationship starter for us as she loves surprises and doing such a romantic act for her would definitely give me some brownie points on the romantic front.
To end up the proposal I would get down on one knee and do the routine ;) I know this sounds a bit monotonous and common but this would be a first time for me. Also I think she would appreciate all the gestures knowing how much I hate these kind of things :)

I hope all goes well and this does not blow up in my face, coz she might get a bit angry when she sees her room has been spoilt with all that glow in the dark paint. And given my handwriting I am definitely looking for a calligrapher to do all the writing part ;)

Cheers !! Hope you too have an amazing and eventful Valentine's day.

Relocate Quikr !!

Heyy Guys,

NOTE - THIS POST IS BASED ON TRUE EVENTS ;)

The post is about my experience relocating to Bangalore and how Quikr helped my relocating seem like a no worry affair.. The story is amazing and hands down quikr became a lifesaver and my favorite website.

It was after completing my Chartered accountancy course that I had no idea what to do further in my life. I knew I was interested in going for a job but what kind of job I did not know. I started exploring my interests and soon found out that I would not be into a regular boring accounting department job and cut that off the list.

I have had an infatuation for Bangalore since the last time I visited it with family, the city's so serene and paced that it pumps up your spirit and clears your mind. So that's how I decided that I would be moving to Bangalore.

Now the main problem was what would I do after moving to Bangalore, therefore I started out looking for jobs for a CA there. First went in for CA institute website and enrolled for campus placement at Bangalore, then signed in my LinkedIN account and shortlisted a few interesting jobs. All the while I was doing this I got a sense of limited opportunities so I tried to look deeper into the World Wide Web and came across http://bangalore.quikr.com/

I had known Quikr to a B2C website where in you could just sell things and stuff but to my surprise you can do a lot more than that. There is a separate "Jobs" section in there and believe me it is a life saver. As soon as I punched in my requirements, the screen was filled with millions of opportunities and I thought to myself that this is my kind of a scene.
Soon I applied in 4 companies that suited best of my reuqiremnts and got a call back within a day from one of those. I had not been expecting such a fast turn around but it did happen and I was glad. Then I had an interview over the telephone. It went well and then the HR guys said that they’d have a final decision in a few days.

I had a feeling that I would get into the company since the interview went as expected. And following my intuition I got an email 2 days later saying that I had been selected and would have to join from next week.

Now the real problem was shifting from Jaipur to Bangalore in 5 days and getting settled in a whole new city. I was worried to my death and decided that I would take help of my new friend http://bangalore.quikr.com/
I packed my necessary stuff and left for Bangalore 3 days after the call.
I scouted out a place for renting first of all on Quikr and again to the rescue I was living in a decent apartment in 2 days after moving to Bangalore.

So the saga continued and as it turned out I had set up my new rented apartment with all the necessities - AC, fridge, washing machine, a good mattress, a solid sturdy cupboard and all the things I can imagine freshly and amazingly from the sellers on Quikr.

It has been like a dream with things happening so fast but I really have quikr to thank to.

PS - Relocate quikr with Quikr.com :)
